Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the Night shift in our Houston, TX facility. You will oversee the night crew, drive Lean initiatives, and manage ERP data to support on-time delivery. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of manufacturing experience, plus familiarity with AS400/JD Edwards ERP and Six Sigma/Lean practices. This role requires flexibility for overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years' manufacturing experience required.
• AS400 and JD Edwards ERP experience preferred.
• Six Sigma/Lean experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly manufacturing team members
• Schedule and assign work to meet production goals
• Create and modify standardized work and ensure consistent application
• Provide technical expertise in all responsible areas
• Ensure products are prepared according to requirements and ready for on-time delivery
• Maintain ERP system and master data
• Coordinate Planning, Scheduling, and Operations to meet KPIs
• Maintain KPI reporting and participate in Lean Daily Management
• Track Daily/Weekly/Monthly delivery metrics for customer service
• Identify and execute Kaizen opportunities
• Collaborate with EHS and HR to investigate and provide corrective measures
• Uphold and enforce company policies and housekeeping practices
• Maintain consistent and fair labor relations
• Foster teamwork and winning attitudes
• All other duties as assigned
