Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Night Shift Manufacturing Supervisor (7:00pm - 7:00am) at our Byesville facility. You will supervise the machine operating staff, drive Lean Daily Management, and own shift safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

You will develop and coach team members, balance labor and materials, and ensure production schedules are met. Strong communication and leadership are essential; willingness to work extra hours as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Lead and supervise manufacturing teams with focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Develop and coach team members to identify problems and implement countermeasures.
• Balance labor, materials, and machine utilization to meet production goals.
• Must have schedule flexibility and be willing to work additional hours.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing tools to improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Atkore Business System and Lean Daily Management within your teams.
• Develop team members to identify problems and perform root-cause analyses.
• Control and optimize labor, materials, and machine utilization.
• Achieve production goals and meet the production scheduling plan.
• Manage vacation schedules and overtime.
• Communicate with all levels of the organization.
