Job summary

General Mills seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a 3rd shift team (11pm–7am) in its production facility. You will drive world-class results using Lean/TPM, develop employees, and sustain continuous improvement across operations.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, ensuring quality and safety standards, and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet plant goals. A Bachelor's degree is preferred; 1–3 years of leadership experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing, production or team leadership experience.
• High School degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills.
• Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity and change.

Responsibilities

• Educate, develop, and motivate a manufacturing work group to achieve production results.
• Ensure facilities and finished products meet quality, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Establish relationships to foster collaboration and creative solutions.
• Provide business leadership aligned with plant objectives daily.
• Coach and guide the work group to deliver year-over-year improvements using CI tools.
• Serve as a technical resource in system operations and product requirements.
• Facilitate effective information interchange between work groups and cross-functional teams.
