Job summary

Takeda in Round Lake, IL is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to support GMP manufacturing of life-saving therapies. You will operate key equipment, lead line activities, train junior technicians, and ensure accurate batch documentation while maintaining a safe, compliant environment.

The role requires 2+ years of related experience or 1 year with an AA, a high school diploma or GED, and English proficiency. It offers a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, 3 shift nights, OT, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• GMP manufacturing experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or higher is preferred.
• At least 2 years of related experience, or 1 year with an AA degree.
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Run and support production activities in accordance with cGMP, safety and quality standards.
• Lead the line, train junior technicians, and collaborate with other teams to achieve goals.
• Accurately complete batch documentation and report safety, quality, or equipment issues.
