Job summary

Amgen’s Rhode Island facility is seeking an Associate Manufacturing professional to perform manufacturing operations with GMP adherence. The role includes batching, media handling, and process documentation in a high-focus environment.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, drafting procedures, and contributing to continuous improvements on a rotating 12-hour D-shift with a 15% shift differential. Strong technical writing and regulatory knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering required.
• Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Experience with DeltaV and lab equipment is advantageous.
• Strong technical writing capability and ability to interpret complex procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform batching and transfer of Buffers and Media according to SOPs.
• Follow critical processes, draft/ revise Manufacturing Procedures and reports.
• Assist in deviation initiation and LEAN improvements.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.
