Job summary

Amgen in Rhode Island is seeking an Associate Manufacturing professional to perform GMP manufacturing operations in purification. The role requires following GMP, SOPs, and documenting in batch records.

The 12-hour rotating shift (7AM-7PM) with a bi-weekly rotation offers weekends off periodically and site-wide safety and quality focus. Ideal candidates have a high school/GED with related manufacturing experience or an associate/bachelor degree and familiarity with DeltaV, MES, ERP, and LIMS

Qualifications

• High school/GED with 2 years in manufacturing or operations, or an associate degree with 6 months experience, or a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with GMP and documentation practices in manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with batch records, SOPs, and manufacturing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor GMP manufacturing processes per SOPs.
• Use MES/DeltaV/ERP systems for data capture and workflow.
• Draft and revise Manufacturing Procedures and technical reports.
• Support safety and quality initiatives and Lean goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage non-conformance records.
