Job summary

Amgen Inc. (IR) in Rhode Island is seeking an Associate Manufacturing - Nights to perform operations within the Manufacturing area, focusing on Buffers and Media, following GMP guidelines and documenting in batch records.

You will monitor critical processes, draft or revise SOPs and procedures, and troubleshoot with basic analytical skills. The role includes a 12-hour rotating shift (7 PM–7 AM) with a 15% shift differential and Sunday premium pay where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school/GED plus 2 years manufacturing or operations work experience OR Associate's + 6 months of manufacturing or operations work experience OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Experience with GMP and batch records documentation is preferred.
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of purification, cell culture, aseptic processing and CFR familiarity.
• Demonstrated ability to write technical documents and manage small projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform batching and transfer of Buffers and Media per SOPs.
• Follow and monitor critical processes; complete validation protocols and draft/ revise Manufacturing Procedures and reports.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and assist in reviewing documentation for functions.
• Initiate and own area Deviations; revise SOPs and perform LEAN functions.
• Identify, recommend and implement improvements for routine functions.
