Job summary

Amgen in Rhode Island is seeking an Associate Manufacturing - Nights to perform GMP-based operations in the manufacturing area, handling buffers, media, and related documentation. The role requires following SOPs, maintaining batch records, and contributing to process improvements.

The position involves a 12-hour night shift (7PM-7AM) with a 15% shift differential and Sunday premium pay, and will begin with on-site onboarding (8am–5pm, 2–6 weeks).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years manufacturing/operations experience or equivalent
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Experience with biotech operations and single-use systems is a plus
• Knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements is expected

Responsibilities

• Batching and transferring buffers and media per SOPs
• Follow and monitor critical processes and draft/ revise Manufacturing Procedures
• Review documentation and perform basic troubleshooting
• Lead area Deviations, revise SOPs, and support LEAN initiatives
• Identify and implement improvements to routine functions
