Job summary

Amgen in Rhode Island seeks an Associate Manufacturing - Nights to perform operations in the Manufacturing area, ensuring GMP compliance and proper documentation in batch records. This role requires batching and transfer of Buffers and Media following SOPs, with a rotating 12-hour schedule and on-site presence.

Qualifications include a high school or GED with experience, or an advanced degree. Preferred candidates have knowledge of large-scale biotech operations, GMP, DeltaV, and strong writing

Qualifications

• High school/GED plus 2 years in manufacturing or operations.
• Associates with 6 months in manufacturing or operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or required in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Perform batching and transfer of Buffers and Media according to SOPs.
• Follow and monitor critical processes; draft and revise manufacturing documents.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and assist in review of documentation.
• Initiate and own area Deviations; revise SOPs and perform LEAN functions.
• Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to routine functions.
