Job summary

Amgen in Rhode Island is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Nights role. You will operate within multiple manufacturing areas, including cell culture and purification, applying GMP and CFR standards.

You’ll work on a rotating 12-hour night shift with a 15% differential and premium pay for Sundays, while onboarding in an initial Monday–Friday training period. The role emphasizes cross-area manufacturing, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced biotech

Qualifications

• High school/GED with 2 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent.
• Associates degree with 6 months of experience; or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s in Science or Engineering; knowledge of GMP/CFR; experience with tech in biotech environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform cell culture, purification, weigh & dispense, and solutions batching as part of an Agile Manufacturing team.
• Follow SOPs, MPs, JHAs, CFRs; perform and monitor critical manufacturing processes.
• Train staff and serve as safety representative; review documentation and batch records.
