Job summary

Mars Incorporated seeks a Shift Manager for night shifts in the Aurora area. You will lead front-line teams, drive safety, quality and cost improvements, and partner with the Area Management Team to deliver continuous improvement and Mars Supply Excellence programs. Build a strong training strategy and ensure adherence to policy.

You will coordinate staffing, materials, and line changes, while coaching associates to grow in their roles and uphold safety and food quality standards.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading others in a manufacturing/continuous improvement environment.
• Familiarity with HACCP concepts and food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate shift-based teams to meet safety, quality and cost targets.
• Mentor associates, implement training strategies and drive engagement.
• Manage line operations, staffing and materials for on-shift performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and reliability data collection.
• Enforce standards, change management and policy adherence on shift.
