Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Malta Fab 8 300mm facility. The role focuses on monitoring, sustaining, and improving equipment and processes in partnership with production teams and area engineers.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot with basic electrical/mechanical skills, and communicate status updates to leadership. The position requires standing for long shifts, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a cleanroom.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A 2-year technical degree or 4 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
• English written and spoken proficiency is required.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment per semiconductor protocol.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain semiconductor equipment and processes.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned tools.
• Communicate equipment status to Leads/Engineers and document shifts.
• Comply with EHS&S policies and safe working practices.
