Job summary

GlobalFoundries Malta Fab8 is seeking a Maintenance Technician to monitor, sustain, and improve equipment in a fast-paced semiconductor fab. You will collaborate with production teams and area engineers to ensure manufacturing readiness and resolve equipment issues.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years of maintenance experience, and the ability to work extended shifts in a cleanroom with required PPE. Relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 2 years of maintenance-related experience required.
• Electrical or mechanical experience (2-year technical degree, 2 years military, or 4 years related work) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and schedule maintenance.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per operating procedures.
• Communicate equipment status and shift pass downs to Lead Tech/Engineer.
• Work both independently and with teams in a fast-paced fab environment.
