Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Technician in California to perform preventive and repair maintenance on production machinery, ensuring continuous output of high-quality film while upholding safety standards.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues, provide round-the-clock support, and work with JDE for parts. The role requires hands-on skills and the ability to work with contractors for upgrades and installations.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical and electrical skills required.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical blueprints or schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and correct mechanical, electrical and process problems on production equipment.
• Provide 24/7 technical support for production.
• Use JDE system to purchase and stock parts.
• Assemble, disassemble and upgrade production lines or equipment as needed.
• Inspect production lines and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with contractors for repairs/upgrades.
