Job summary

Pennex Aluminum Company in Leetonia, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a night shift (6pm–6am) with rotating weekends. You will repair and maintain production and facilities equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and PLC systems, ensuring low downtime and safe operations.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, welding, and PLC experience, with an Associate's degree or equivalent. On-site role with strong safety and CMMS use.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Five or more years in manufacturing with welding, hydraulics and pneumatics experience.
• Electrical experience and PLC troubleshooting are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls to diagnose and repair equipment with prioritization from plant leadership.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, combustion and electronic components.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on extrusion presses and furnace systems.
• Inspect air compressors, cooling water system and extrusion presses daily for proper operation.
• Install or modify equipment to improve reliability and safety.
• Complete tasks in CMMS and follow safety rules.
