Job summary

Pennex Aluminum Company in Leetonia, OH is seeking a PEP Maintenance Technician for a hybrid role. You will set up CNC equipment, troubleshoot processes, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, while improving reliability and safety.

The position requires strong hands-on skills and the ability to read blueprints and GD&T. The role includes performing preventive maintenance, supporting changeovers, and collaborating with Production, Quality, and Engineering

Qualifications

• Three or more years of CNC setup, machining, or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and setup documentation; basic GD&T understanding.
• PLC troubleshooting, welding and fabrication, and aluminum/manufacturing environment familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Sets up CNC machining equipment, including tooling, fixtures and offsets, and first-piece prep.
• Reads blueprints and process docs; verifies part dimensions with precision tools.
• Troubleshoots CNC setup/process issues; performs changes to restore stable production.
• Performs changeovers, supports first-piece qualification, and coordinates with teams.
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC and facility equipment.
