Job summary

Pennex in Leetonia, OH is seeking a PEP Maintenance Technician for a night shift (6pm-6am) in a hybrid role combining CNC setup and process support with general facility maintenance. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize CNC equipment, read blueprints, and work with multiple systems (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLC).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate/associate preferred.
• 3+ years CNC setup, machining, or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and setup documentation; GD&T understanding.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machining equipment, tooling, fixtures, and offsets; prepare first pieces.
• Read blueprints and process specs; verify dimensions with precision tools.
• Troubleshoot CNC setup/process issues; adjust to restore stable production.
• Perform changeovers and collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering to solve problems.
• Respond to service calls; prioritize repairs and complete timely fixes.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems; weld/fabricate as needed.
