Job summary

Pennex is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Leetonia, OH location to repair and maintain production and facilities equipment, ensuring reliability and minimal downtime. The role requires strong diagnostic and repair skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, combustion, electrical, and PLC systems, with experience in welding and machinery alignment.

The night shift runs 6pm–6am with rotating weekends, and the ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service

Qualifications

• Experience repair and maintenance of production and facilities equipment.
• Ability to diagnose complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and welding competency.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls to diagnose and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, combustion and electrical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on extrusion presses and related equipment.
• Inspect air compressors and cooling water systems daily and maintain oil levels.
• Install or modify equipment to improve reliability and safety.
• Complete CMMS tasks and maintain a clean, safe work area.
