Job summary

Zeeland Farm Services, Inc. (ZFS Ithaca) seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair and replace plant equipment at our Ithaca, Michigan facility on the night shift, supporting production and quality while following safety procedures and SOPs.

Schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM with on-call duties for maintenance shutdowns. Compensation is hourly with a $1.50 night shift premium and a monthly phone reimbursement; non-exempt.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required; trade school cert preferred.
• Experience in maintenance of process manufacturing facilities preferred.
• Ability to read procedures and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, and replaces plant equipment and systems to maximize production and quality.
• Performs preventative maintenance and troubleshoots issues as they arise.
• Coordinates with operations to schedule maintenance and repairs.
• Participates in safety, health, and environmental programs and adheres to SOPs.
