Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 11pm-7am shift at the Zumbrota plant. You will ensure equipment operates efficiently, perform preventative maintenance, and support new equipment installations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, two+ years of mechanical/electrical education or equivalent, and a 1st class B boiler license within 12 months. SAP experience is a plus, and safety is a core priority.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Two or more years of mechanical/electrical education certification or equivalent experience in manufacturing facilities, preferably food experience.
Must obtain 1st class B boilers license within 12 months and follow hour requirements to upgrade license.
SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance and/or repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment, following all safety procedures.
Support the installation of new equipment.
Assist the operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
Ensure all repairs are documented.
Foster teamwork consistent with our company and plant mission, vision, and core values.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Follow all DFA GMP's and works in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
