Job summary

Revolution Sustainable Solutions, LLC in Flint, MI is hiring a Night-shift Maintenance Technician to keep all equipment operating through preventive and as-needed maintenance, documenting repairs, and ensuring accuracy and accountability.

The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong work ethic, with the ability to read manuals and schematics, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for 12 hours, and work weekends or shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical certificate in electrical or machine maintenance required.
• Industrial, electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience working on plastic extrusion equipment is a plus.
• Math skills: addition, subtraction, and multiplication for reports.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, frequently 50 lbs.
• Stand for 12 hours in non-climate-controlled environment.
• Weekend/shift work with good work history.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, installation, repair, and upkeep of equipment, machinery, and facility.
• Identify parts or machines needing new or replacement parts.
• Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments.
• Learn, optimize, and run all plant equipment.
• Interpret manuals, drawings, and equipment schematics to adjust, maintain, or repair machinery.
• Respond to production requests, troubleshoot problems.
• Communicate with production to diagnose problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide daily reports of shift activities.
• All other duties as assigned by the manager.
