Job summary
Perdue Foods is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic III to diagnose complex issues, perform advanced repairs, and lead preventive maintenance to keep production equipment running reliably. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and supporting production continuity at our Dillon, SC site.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on skills, familiarity with hydraulic and conveyor systems, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies, while maintaining a clean and safe work
Qualifications
- Must possess knowledge of hydraulic systems, conveyor systems and an aptitude for industrial machinery.
- Reading Blueprints/Schematics, Hydraulic systems, Pumps, Electrical wiring and motors.
- Oxygen, Acetylene and Aluminum welding capability is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex issues and perform advanced repairs on production equipment.
- Lead preventive maintenance efforts to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Support production continuity and drive overall equipment performance (OEE).
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas.
