Job summary

Great Hire in Brea, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to keep production facilities and machinery operating at peak efficiency. You will perform complex preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and minimize downtime in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, electrical work up to 480V, and documentation in CMMS. Requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, ability to lift 50 lbs, and relevant certifications

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance (3–5 years).
• Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic meters.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight or elevated spaces.
• Certifications (HVAC, EPA, electrical, forklift) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
• Carry out electrical work up to 480V, motor controls, relays, and basic PLCs.
• Support general facilities maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and structural repairs.
• Document maintenance activities and parts in the CMMS.
