Job summary

AbbVie in Texas is hiring for an entry-level maintenance role on a B2 shift (7pm–7:30am) Wednesday/Thursday/Friday and every other Saturday, with a 15% night shift differential. The position focuses on preventive and demand maintenance while supporting senior technicians to build a versatile foundation.

You will follow GMP and safety regulations, uphold AbbVie's Code of Business Conduct, and receive vocational training to grow into a higher-level technician within a multi‑craft maintenance team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 0+ years experience or a relevant certificate; completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to industrial maintenance is desired.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to AbbVie's Code of Business Conduct
• Understand and follow all GMP and safety regulations
• Work with senior level technicians across several areas of maintenance to build a diverse, multi‑craft foundation for a career in the skilled trades with the intent of developing into a higher‑level technician.
• Perform preventive and demand maintenance activities, support predictive maintenance activities, and receive vocational training to increase skill set and knowledge across multiple maintenance functions.
