Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician to join the team for a 7:00 am to 7:30 pm shift on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday. This role serves as a primary resource for preventive and demand maintenance within the current skill set while supporting Senior Technicians with more advanced tasks.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required, or completion/current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance.
• Basic power tools and proper hand and measuring tools used in industrial settings.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to AbbVie’s Code of Business Conduct.
• Follow GMP and Safety regulations.
• Support Senior Technicians across Maintenance areas to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation.
• Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities and support Predictive Maintenance.
