Job summary

ABBVIE is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician for the MD Fill night shift in Texas. Work is 6pm–6:30am Sunday/Monday/Tuesday and every other Saturday, with a 15% night-shift differential.

You will serve as a primary resource for preventive and demand maintenance, supporting senior technicians and building a diverse, multi-craft foundation for your career in the Skilled Trades. HS diploma with 0+ years or certificate, ability to use basic power tools, and MS Windows proficiency are

Qualifications

• Experience setting up production/manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate. Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).

• Work with Sr Level Technicians across several areas of Maintenance to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation for their career in the Skilled Trades with the intent of building skills and developing into a higher-level Technician.

• Vocational training to increase skill set and knowledge across multiple maintenance functions.
