Job summary

General Mills is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Richmond, IN facility. This role supports night shift and requires readiness for 2-2-3 scheduling, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, electrical motors, gearboxes and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics and use electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and replace industrial processing and packaging equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Provide plant leadership and technical support for equipment troubleshooting and modifications.
• Design and layout electrical circuits and install fixtures and wiring conduits.
• Perform sheet metal fabrication and MIG/TIG welding as needed.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
