The Mennel Milling Company in Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain our tradition of excellence and support food safety programs. You will meet machinery inspection, maintenance, and repair requirements for the assigned shift and provide mechanical and electrical technical assistance to install new equipment for mill applications.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including electrical and mechanical.
• Documented Electrician’s certification.
• Ability to work any shift, weekends, and overtime to support business needs.

Responsabilités

• Follow all safety rules (GMP, OSHA, HACCP, FDA FSMA) and keep audit-ready condition.
• Test, installation, and repair of plant equipment; perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Electrical inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of production equipment and plant power systems.
• Perform basic mechanical work (sheet metal, welding, piping, etc.).
• Document work performed and communicate activities to relevant personnel.
• Read manuals/schematics and stay current on equipment updates.
• Provide on-call emergency repair service for all mill areas.
• Take assignments from Maintenance Reliability Planner.
• Consult with supervisor on issues and scope of work; be proactive on safety.
• Use testing instruments, programming devices, tools, and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
