Job summary
Kennametal is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (11pm–7am) at our Ohio facility. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, performing daily PMs on a range of equipment including CNC grinders, presses, and furnaces.
A strong safety mindset and experience with industrial systems are required. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, walk-and-work on a factory floor, and collaboration with plant teams to ensure reliable
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a maintenance technician with relevant training.
- Must be able to walk, climb ladders and stand up to 8–12 hours daily.
- Must participate in safety programs and PPE requirements.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Perform PMs on CNC grinders, presses, furnaces, blasters, and related equipment.
- Collaborate with plant personnel to maintain equipment reliability and uptime.
