Job summary

The Mennel Milling Company is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) at Mennel Bakery Mix and Food Service - Martel. This full-time role focuses on leading manufacturing operations with emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will coach and develop a night-shift team, manage staffing and resources, ensure food safety compliance, monitor performance, and drive Lean/TPM initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of operations or manufacturing experience; 5 years preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and developing operations employees to achieve outstanding manufacturing results.
• Ensuring compliance with all food safety, quality, sanitation, GMP, OSHA, HACCP, and FSMA requirements while maintaining an audit-ready facility.
• Managing daily staffing and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and system utilization.
• Monitoring, tracking, and reporting manufacturing performance related to cost, quality, safety, sanitation, and customer service.
• Serving as a technical and business resource for system operations and product requirements.
• Identifying manufacturing process failures, determining root causes, and driving corrective actions.
• Fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement using Lean/TPM principles.
• Providing performance feedback, coaching, and corrective action when necessary.
