Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Distribution Center in Kingsley Township, PA. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, PLCs, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics to ensure continuous operations.

The position requires 3–5 years’ experience, an Associate’s Degree or technical certificate, and strong safety awareness. On-site work includes lifting up to 75 lbs and adherence to LOTO policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree.
• 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree preferably in a mechanical or electrical application.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific specialized software packages (ex. Crown PM, Gage) & equipment.
• Able to read & understand electrical mechanical building type drawings/schematics
• Good safety awareness
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with LOTO

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment including PLCs, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related systems.
• Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians to elevate performance.
• Work closely with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely.
• Take on other duties as needed to support the DC and its operational needs.
