Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for our distribution center. The role involves maintaining and repairing equipment, including PLCs and conveyors, ensuring compliance with safety and PM standards, and documenting parts usage.

The candidate will train junior technicians, work with external vendors on projects, and support DC operations as needed. OSHA safety and LOTO compliance are essential, with potential for ongoing development in a dynamic retail logistics

Qualifications

: Associate's degree or 2-year technical certificate in mechanical/electrical applications.
: 3–5 years of related maintenance experience.
: Welding, burning, cutting.
: Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, and PLC controls.
: Experience with LOTO and safety standards.
: Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

Adhere to OSHA safety standards including LOTO.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment (conveyors, PLCs, hydraulics, etc.).
Document spare parts usage and PM work in asset system.
Train junior technicians to elevate performance.
Collaborate with external vendors on DC projects.
Take on other duties to support DC operations.
