Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician at our Distribution Center to maintain and repair all equipment across the facility, including conveyors and PLC-controlled systems. The role requires familiarity with LOTO, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical schematics, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The position involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and collaborating with vendors.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required
• 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree in mechanical or electrical application preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance/industrial equipment
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics
• Good safety awareness and ability to stand, bend, reach, push and lift up to 75 lbs
• Experience with LOTO procedures

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and LOTO procedures
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility and conveyance system equipment; follow PM standards and document in asset management system
• Report spare parts usage and inventory levels to maintenance leadership
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance during troubleshooting and repairs
• Collaborate with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely
• Perform additional duties to support DC operations
