Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring a maintenance technician for our distribution center in Lackawanna County. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC-controlled systems.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience, relevant technical education, and a strong safety mindset. The position requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and manage PM documentation within our asset system.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 year technical certificate required.
• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance or equivalent field.
• Familiar with hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Knowledge of safety standards and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards and LOTO.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems. Document work for asset management.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance during troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely.
• Support DC operations by taking on additional duties as needed.
