Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods Distribution Center seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment including PLCs, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics, while following PM schedules and OSHA safety practices.

3–5 years of related experience is required. You will document work in the asset management system, train junior technicians, and coordinate with outside vendors to keep the DC running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent technical training in mechanical or electrical applications.
• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience.
• Experience welding, burning, cutting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific software packages and equipment.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Good safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Experience with LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements including OSHA standards for LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment including PLCs, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics; follow PM standards and document work in asset management system.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and usage to maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely.
• Take on additional duties to support DC operations.
