Job summary

Technimark in Latrobe, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 12-hour night shift responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.

You will monitor and improve uptime, assist with new equipment setups, and ensure compliance with OSHA/NFPA 70 safety standards while supporting production and other departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance and/or mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical prints and drawings.
• Understanding of basic electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles.
• PLC troubleshooting knowledge or experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach to identifying and preventing equipment issues.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Monitor machines, robots, and auxiliaries for safe, efficient operation.
• Collaborate with Production to maximize uptime and minimize downtime.
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment, automation, and robotics.
• Perform mold setup and provide production support as needed.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and electrical control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
• Work with live/high voltage electrical systems per OSHA and NFPA 70.
• Inspect safety systems and document maintenance activities.
• Identify and correct equipment problems proactively.
• Maintain organized spare parts inventory and communicate needs.
• Keep shop clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist other departments with maintenance tasks.
