Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for our distribution center. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, and PLC-driven systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Candidates should have mechanical/electrical training, DC experience, and strong safety discipline. The position requires physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and adherence to LOTO and PM standards.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in a mechanical or electrical field.
3–5 years of maintenance experience.
Proficiency with welding, burning, cutting.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
Familiar with DC-specific software packages (e.g., Crown PM, Gage) and related equipment.
Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
Strong safety awareness and LOTO experience.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility.
Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership.
Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians.
Work closely with outside vendors to complete projects within the DCs safely and on time.
Take on other duties as needed to support the DC and its operational needs
