Job summary

Amcor Morgantown PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair production equipment including Injection molding machines, IML automation, and assembly lines. The role requires experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and performing preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include installation, repair, and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting PLC/RS logic, welding (MIG/TIG), and collaborating on continuous improvements while adhering to

Qualifications

• 5-7 years manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under limited supervision.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and welding is beneficial.
• Advanced training or experience with hydraulics, industrial electricity, electronics, and control systems preferred.
• Additional training may be required to retain position.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and preventive maintenance of all operating equipment and support equipment as assigned.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC/RS Logic issues.
• Install machine electrical and plumbing interfaces with other systems.
• Develop solutions to issues and improvements for machines.
• MIG & TIG welding.
• Test equipment using PLC and RS Logic and make adjustments.
• Perform daily PMs and maintain paperwork.
• Follow safety, lean manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate with other teams on continuous improvement projects.
• Follow food safety and cGMP policies.
