Job summary

Amcor LLC in Princeton, NJ, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support molding and assembly machinery. You will install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on operating equipment and support systems, read schematics, and calibrate PLCs.

The role requires 1–2 years of manufacturing maintenance, an associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Occasional welding and facilities tasks are included.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or equivalent.
• Ability to read prints/schematics.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and welding is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and perform preventive maintenance on molding and assembly equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and PLC issues.
• Read prints/schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Perform MIG & TIG welding; use fabrication skills.
• Maintain safety and lean manufacturing standards.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure continuous operations.
• Maintain documentation and paperwork.
• Provide general facilities maintenance.
