Job summary

International Paper is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Tucker, GA. The role covers shift coverage including nights and weekends, with a focus on maintaining mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment.

You’ll read blueprints, troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding tasks, and support equipment installation and plant improvements. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of mechanical experience, a Journeyman or technical certificate, and ability to work with limited

Qualifications

• 2 years of related mechanical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical Journeyman or Technical/Vocation Certificate preferred.
• Experience with electrical circuit troubleshooting, plumbing, pneumatics, mobile equipment, Mig welding.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and practices, observing policies and procedures and identify unsafe conditions to management.
• Perform maintenance functions including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing and HVAC repairs under supervision.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance duties across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Read gauges and test equipment accurately.
• Respond to and complete work orders promptly.
• Support installation of new equipment and facilities improvements.
