Job summary

Quality Packaging (Qual Pac) in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift. The role involves maintaining form fill and seal equipment, shrink wrap tunnels, forklifts, and related electrical and mechanical systems.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you support production reliability and safety standards. The candidate should have a High School Diploma with at least 5 years of related experience, basic computer skills, and CMMS experience.

Qualifications

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years experience.
Proficient with basic computer skills and CMMS software.
Understanding encoders and equipment timing; servo drives and motors knowledge.
Familiar with 480V 3‑phase motors and high‑voltage wiring.
Basic knowledge of logic software; electrical troubleshooting.
Some college is desirable; bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, sweepers, etc.).
Document maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Select repair parts and update parts records.
Repair mechanical damage and replace defective parts, including welding and soldering.
Maintenance and repair of batteries and chargers.
Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems in warehouse.
