Job summary

Mars Incorporated in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair process and packaging equipment on a 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM–6:30 AM, 2-2-3 schedule). You will work with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and automation including PLC and instrumentation.

The role emphasizes PM/PdM, TPM participation, safety procedures (LOTO, GMP), and collaboration with operations to support production.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical degree or trade certification OR 2+ years related industrial maintenance experience.
Fundamental understanding of Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic Schematics and/or Mechanical Drawings to solve equipment problems.
Willingness to develop required technical skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair and overhaul equipment within close tolerances.
Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem-solving on process & packaging equipment.
Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) on Process & Packaging Equipment with minimal guidance.
Support Operations in equipment setup, changeover and training of operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities.
Document Work Orders (WO) using SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance.
Demonstrate TPM theory and participate in pillar teams, training fellow Technicians/Operators in AM activities including Breakdown Analysis (BDA).
Understand and adhere to Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) Procedures, Confined Space Procedures and GMP requirements.
