Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a qualified 3rd shift Maintenance Technician in Marion, OH to service corrugated packaging machinery in a high-volume plant. You will diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support equipment moves and installations.

The role requires advanced mechanical skills, basic electrical knowledge, and hands‑on experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Expect a 4x10 schedule (8:00 PM–6:00 AM) with potential overtime.

Qualifications

Advanced mechanical aptitude with preventative and reactive maintenance in an industrial setting.
Basic electrical knowledge including reading schematics and troubleshooting.
Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and using pneumatic/hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate tools to fabricate, repair, and maintain corrugated packaging machinery.
Diagnose malfunctions by observing operating equipment.
Read blueprints and specifications to determine required parts.
Move and install equipment as needed and test for proper operation.
Maintain and lubricate tools and equipment to ensure reliability.
