Nestlé S.A. Batavia, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform proactive and reactive maintenance on industrial mechanical and electrical systems. You will troubleshoot, repair and optimize production equipment while coordinating with production and engineering teams to maintain asset reliability.

During training, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.; then transition to 4 ten-hour days, with nights 6 p.m.–6 a.m. on a 2‑2‑3 schedule.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of complex mechanical equipment in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, military or related environment.

• Collaborate with team members to maintain equipment and solve technical problems.
• Model safety and share mechanical and electrical expertise to train other team members and champion a safety-first work environment.
• Execute Planned Maintenance (PM) activities to proactively prevent failures and promote safe and efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and equipment including motors, conveyors, bearings, gears, sprockets, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics and automation systems.
• Work to reduce unplanned stoppages through effective root cause analysis.
• Utilize mechanical and electrical tools, diagnostic instruments (meters), mechanical diagrams and schematics, CMMS and other digital tools to work safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic rigging, mechanical practicesand welding skills in an industrial environment.
