Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform proactive and reactive maintenance on industrial mechanical and electrical systems in our Batavia, OH facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize production equipment, coordinating with production and engineering to keep assets operating efficiently.

Initially, you will work Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m., then transition to a 4, 10-hour day schedule, with nights (6 p.m.–6 a.m.) on a 2-2-3 pattern.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of maintenance and troubleshooting experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to perform planned and predictive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment including conveyors, motors, valves and hydraulics.
• Operate diagnostic instruments and CMMS to document work and track maintenance.
• Lead safety-first practices and training for teammates.
• Execute PM activities to prevent failures and keep assets running efficiently.
• Work rotating shift schedule and adapt to 2-2-3 pattern including nights.
