Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Maintenance Technician to safely maintain, repair, and install plant machinery, with duties spanning preventive maintenance and building upkeep.

Qualifications

• Tech School or college degree a plus but not necessary.
• Experience with SAP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and efficiently.
• Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions.
• Use tools ranging from hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
• Plan and lay out repair work using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.
• Submit part orders and repair reports.
