Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks a Production Line Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair high-speed lines, including mechanical and electrical systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, support quality programs, and help design replacement parts. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and may involve weekend shifts in a hot environment.

OPT shifts: 7pm-7am and 7am-7pm with weekends, OT after 40 hours; training and safety compliance provided. In-person work in Geneva, IL.

Qualifications

• Two years experience as Production Line Mechanic or Technician or technical degree.
• Experience with aerosol can or aluminum can packaging equipment is a plus.
• Automation principles and controls knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to operate maintenance shop equipment.
• Must stand for most of the day; work in hot conditions; crawl under lines and climb ladders.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds; occasional weekends required.
• Flexible schedule; overtime after 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair high-speed production line equipment and drive systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems on packaging/processing equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance safely and on time.
• Support food safety, quality, and continuous improvement activities.
• Request and design replacement parts or equipment as needed.
• Lead consultations with internal resources to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and storage areas.
