Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Utah is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our distribution center in Springville. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems, PLCs, and related equipment to ensure safe, continuous operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, an associate degree or technical certificate, and the ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings. Shift: 2B, Tue-Fri, 5:30p–3:30a with pay range described.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent in mechanical or electrical field.
• 2-year vocational technical certificate or degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance.
• Experience with welding, burning, cutting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific software packages (Crown PM, Gage) and equipment.
• Read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Good safety awareness and LOTO experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience with LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems.
• Follow PM standards and document work in asset management system.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and usage to maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians to improve performance.
• Collaborate with external vendors to complete DC projects safely and on time.
• Take on other duties to support the DC operations.
