Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our distribution center in the United States. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment integral to facility and conveyance systems, following PM standards and documenting work in our asset management system.

The role requires knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and electrical/mechanical schematics, plus the ability to read drawings and operate safely under LOTO protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
• 2-year vocational/technical certificate or degree preferred in mechanical or electrical.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a DC or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems.
• Document work performed in asset management system and follow PM standards.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance and troubleshoot assets.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely.
