Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Distribution Center. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment including PLCs, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics while following PM standards and safety protocols.

Shift: 2B: Tue-Fri 5:30p-3:30a. Pay rate includes a $1/hr shift differential; targeted pay range reflects market and location. Benefits are offered as part of the overall package.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a mechanical or electrical field preferred.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes & PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific software packages and equipment.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Good safety awareness and LOTO experience.
• Able to stand, bend, lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance.
• Coordinate with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely.
• Take on other duties to support DC operations.
